Ukrainian Armed Forces clear one block in Chasiv Yar: occupiers try to outflank our troops from rear - 24th Brigade
The situation in Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, is constantly changing: fighting continues for every house and street.
According to Censor.NET, a representative of the press service of the 24th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine named after King Danylo said this on Suspilne TV channel.
"At the moment, one of the successful operations is the clearing of one of the neighborhoods of Chasiv Yar from an enemy infantry group that managed to cross the Canal and gain a foothold in one of the ruins. Our guys entered the area and cleared several buildings," said a representative of the 24th Brigade.
It is noted that there have been no major changes in the tactics of the Russian army, as the fighting continues within the city limits.
"The situation remains difficult. The enemy is trying to storm the positions of our defenders near the town of Chasiv Yar, trying to bypass them, and using small infantry groups as subversive reconnaissance groups trying to start a battle in the rear, behind our defenders. The enemy is actively shelling the territory of the city with various fire systems, as well as using aerial bombs," the military said.
Earlier, the military said that in Chasiv Yar, in addition to its usual tactics of small groups, the enemy began to use another, more direct tactic.
