Ukraine should be prepared for possible reduction of US aid, - Trump
US President-elect Donald Trump has suggested that aid to Ukraine may be cut during his presidency.
The politician said this in an interview with NBC News, Censor.NET reports.
Trump said that he is actively trying to end Russia's war against Ukraine.
However, Ukraine can "possibly" expect to not receive as much military assistance from the US when he returns to the White House.
NBC also writes that Trump did not commit to keeping the United States in NATO, the European military alliance that has been a bulwark against Russia since World War II.
The politician added that he would preserve America's role in NATO if members "pay their bills."
The day before, the newly elected US president called on Ukraine and Russia to immediately cease fire and begin negotiations.
