On the morning of 9 December 2024, an explosion occurred in the temporarily occupied Donetsk.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Russian propaganda news agency "RIA-Novosti".
According to the propagandists, an off-road vehicle was blown up. It is also noted that 2 people were injured as a result of the explosion.
It is not yet known who owns the car that was blown up.
Social media reports that the head of the Olenivska colony could have been blown up. In particular, this is reported by "Eurosolidarity" MP Oleksii Honcharenko, but there is no confirmation at the moment.

According to the Mash telegram channel, the head of the Olenivska colony, Sergey Yevsyukov, was killed in a car bombing.
His wife was also injured - her leg was blown off and she is in serious condition in hospital. The man's Toyota Land Cruiser was found to have a plastid under the bottom of it, about 100 grams of TNT equivalent.
As a reminder, on the night of 29 July 2022, a powerful explosion occurred in the building where Ukrainian prisoners of war were held in the former penal colony No. 210 in the village of Olenivka in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast.
According to the Russian side, about 50 Ukrainian defenders were killed and more than 70 others were seriously injured.
The International Commission of the Red Cross tried to get to the crime scene, but was prevented by the Russian occupiers.
Prosecutor General Kostin released information that the prisoners were killed using thermobaric weapons.
In August 2022, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres set up a commission to investigate the terrorist attack in occupied Olenivka, which killed about 50 Ukrainian prisoners of war. However, in January 2023, after failing to receive security guarantees from the Russians, Guterres disbanded the mission.
