Kadyrov's reaction
Subsequently, the head of the Chechen Republic (RF), Ramzan Kadyrov, confirmed another drone attack on the building of a special forces regiment in the city of Grozny.
According to him, a drone was allegedly shot down over the barracks of the Akhmat Kadyrov Police Regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Chechnya, and the debris "caused a small fire that was quickly extinguished".
"No one was seriously injured. Four soldiers of the guard received light injuries. The personnel on duty at the time were in rooms protected from such attacks," the Chechen leader said.
He added that "the building did not sustain any serious damage" and that "the UAV that detonated in the air damaged the roof and broke the windows".
Kadyrov traditionally blames Ukraine for the drone strike, and issued an angry tirade about his intention to take revenge.
In addition, he allegedly spoke about the readiness of a reserve of 84,000 "volunteers and soldiers from the Chechen Republic to move to the front line at the first order".
"We will not let this go! We will put down 400 Ukrainians for these four wounded alone," Kadyrov said.
