Drapatyi announced large-scale transformation in Land Forces

Commander Mykhailo Drapatyi announced fundamental changes in the Land Forces. These include recruitment and military training, the latest technologies and battle management, digitalization of processes in the army, transformation of management, logistics, and social support for the military.

This was reported by the press service of the Land Forces, Censor.NET reports.

"The Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine must become high-tech, flexible and adaptive. Elite! People, technology, and transparent governance are our focus," he emphasized at the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters.

What will change in the Land Forces

Military training: We are talking about reforming training programs and centers, as well as using state-of-the-art simulators and other new technologies in training. The training of a soldier should be best adapted to the needs of the frontline.

"The skills and abilities of our backbone - the infantryman - should be as applied and practical as possible, without unnecessary lyrics, and the main carriers of this knowledge will be the NCO corps with combat experience. These changes will emphasize the principles of military leadership and knowledge of technology. Without such skills, it is impossible to establish control over the chaos of battle, and now it is one of the main goals to change the situation at the front," noted Drapatyi.

Recruitment and social support: a transparent recruitment model with zero tolerance for corruption will be introduced in the Land Forces. At the same time, the approach to social support for servicemen will change. He should feel constantly cared for: from the first day of service to employment in civilian life after discharge.

Technology: The Ukrainian infantryman must have a technological advantage over the enemy on the battlefield.

Optimization of management processes: "Agility and efficiency" are needed in the administrative apparatus, and organizational changes and digitalization will be the basis for this.

It is noted that the management changes will primarily affect logistics and military training.

"Today, the Land Forces need changes, new energy of soldiers, and a modern approach to the development of their capabilities. On this day, the Day of the Land Forces, I would like to say: there will definitely be changes! No matter how difficult it is, we have no right not to do it. The Ukrainian people and every soldier who joined the Armed Forces have already begun to build the army of the future. We have to complete our work with a double victory: over the enemy and over everything that hindered the transformation of the army. Together!" - Drapatyi summarized.
