20 out of 31 Shaheds destroyed, 10 more lost in area - Air Force
Since the night of 17 December 2024, the enemy has attacked Ukraine with 31 Shahed-type attack UAVs and other types of drones.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Air Force Command.
As noted, the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
What did our air defence manage to destroy?
According to the Air Force, as of 12.00, 20 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones were confirmed downed in Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions.
As a result of active countermeasures by the Defence Forces, 10 enemy UAVs failed to reach their targets (lost in the area). One UAV is still in the air!
No hits were recorded, no information on damage or casualties was received.

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that the wreckage of the downed "Shaheds" fell in 4 districts of Kyiv, damaging cars and windows in houses.
