Soldier Anton Samkov, together with two infantrymen, 58-year-old Andrii Chapukhin and 56-year-old Ivan Stasiv, held their position near Robotyn in Zaporizhzhia for 56 days.
Enemy drones controlled all the routes to the frontline of the Ukrainian defence and it was impossible to replace the soldiers. Despite constant attacks by Russian attack aircraft and incessant shelling, Ukrainian soldiers did not surrender and managed to defend their positions. The soldiers even managed to eliminate a group of occupiers.
According to Censor.NET, all three defenders were not injured and did not need specialised rehabilitation. After a short holiday, the soldiers returned to combat missions. For more details, see the special report on Butusov Plus YouTube channel.
