Enemy attacked Ukraine with missiles: Kremenchuk, Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk region were under threat - Air Force (updated)
On the morning of 25 December 2024, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with missiles. The threat has now been cancelled.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Air Force Command.
In particular, a target was reported in the direction of Uman, Cherkasy region, and Vinnytsia.
"The cruise missile is in the east of Kirovohrad region, the course is western," the statement said.
"The CM is in Cherkasy region, heading to Vinnytsia region, the CM is heading towards Vinnytsia!" the AF added.
"Kamianske (Dnipropetrovsk region)! Take cover!" the Air Force informed at 7.02 a.m.
As of 7 a.m., the missiles were spotted in Poltava, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy and Vinnytsia regions, moving westward.
"Kremenchuk! CM is heading to you! Kryvyi Rih! CM is heading to you! CM from Dnipropetrovsk region heading to Kropyvnytskyi," the Air Force updated the information at 7.11 a.m.
"The CM is heading towards Chernivtsi from the territory of Moldova," the Air Force informed at 7.24 am.
"The CM in the south of Ternopil region is continuing to fly on a westerly course towards Ivano-Frankivsk," the Air Force clarified at 7.33 am.
"The CM is in Ivano-Frankivsk region, heading northwest," the Air Force later added.
Earlier, the Air Force reported that on the night of 25 December, a group of strategic bombers took off in Russia.
