Odesa bids farewell to military volunteer Yevheniia Dukhopelnikova
On December 22, Odesa bade farewell to military volunteer and writer Yevheniia Dukhopelnikova, who had been helping the frontline since 2014.

Yevheniia Dukhopelnikova died on December 17, 2024. According to her friends, it was "an accident, a tragic accident."
The woman came to the city to visit her comrade-in-arms, who is undergoing rehabilitation here, said volunteer Kateryna.
"It was an accident. A tragic accident. Not at the front. She died here, in Odesa. It just happened. It's not a friend anymore, it's a sister. This is my family now. You know, there are some relatives who are not relatives. There are friends who are closer than relatives," she said.
Yevheniia wrote the book Girls at War. Dolboklyuy's Journey". In it, she tried to capture the real military.
