Director of KCSA Department Svitlyi registered fake disability and received UAH 300 thousand pension - SSU. PHOTOS
Law enforcement officers exposed the Director of the Department of Social and Veteran Policy of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), who unreasonably issued himself a fictitious 2nd disability group. The official was served a notice of suspicion.
This is reported by the press service of the SSU and the National Police, Censor.NET reports.
Law enforcement officers did not name the suspect, but it is known that Ruslan Svitlyi currently holds this position.
It is noted that in 2022, the defendant submitted to one of the district medical examiner's offices in Kyiv forged medical certificates about his diagnosis, which was not true, as well as fake "extracts from the medical record", which allegedly certified his hospital treatment.
As a result, this allowed the official to unreasonably receive a 2nd disability group, which not only "guaranteed a military exemption" from military service, but also allowed him to receive disability payments from the state budget.
In particular, the investigation found that since 2022, the official has received almost UAH 300 thousand of social support as a person with a disability.
The official was served a notice of suspicion under the following articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- p. 3 and 4 of Art. 358 (forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps);
- p. 3 of Article 190 (fraud).
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Comprehensive measures are being taken to establish the circumstances of the crime and bring all perpetrators to justice.
