Zelenskyy appoints Andrii Tupikov as head of SSU’s Counterintelligence Department

On Tuesday, December 31, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree appointing Andrii Tupikov as head of the Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The corresponding decree, No. 900/2024, was published on the President's website, Censor.NET reports.

"To appoint Tupikov Andriy Anatoliyovych as the head of the Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service of Ukraine," the text of the decree reads.

What is known about Andrii Tupikov?

Andrii Tupikov is a Major of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

On August 13, 2015, he was awarded the Order of Danylo Halytskyi for personal courage and heroism in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
