3rd SAB on enemy attempts to cross Oskil River in Kharkiv region: They pose threat to Kupiansk and Borova
The enemy's assault actions in the Kharkiv direction take place daily.
This was stated by the deputy commander of the 3rd SAB (Separate Assault Brigade) Maksym Zhorin in his telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
"We do not have breaks 'for holidays.' The Russian army is attempting to reach the Oskil River from the direction of Makiivka (to the south) and in the area of Zahryzove (to the north). In the vicinity of Dvorichne, they are persistently trying to cross, often with bold tactics—using ordinary boats, sometimes stolen from locals. All this poses a threat to Kupiansk and Borova," he noted.
According to Zhorin, the main difficulty today is the weather conditions, which sometimes make it very difficult to reconnoiter the approaches, as well as to conduct fire from drones in general.
"The enemy always takes advantage of the weather, realizing that we cannot see anything at this time.
Sometimes the Russians manage to get close to our positions, after which we have to conduct a mopping up of the area and help neighboring units regain their positions," he summarizes.
Earlier, the commander of the Achilles battalion of the 92nd SAB, Fedorenko, said that the enemy was throwing all its forces to drive the AFU out of the right bank of the Oskil River. According to Rubtsov, a spokesman for the 116th Brigade, Russian troops regularly try to cross the Oskil River. All attempts remain unsuccessful.
