Circular defence of Izium and Balakliia is being prepared, - Syniehubov
The construction of fortifications and preparation of a circular defence of the cities of Izium and Balakliia is underway in Kharkiv region.
According to Censor.NET, this was stated by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, during a telethon.
"These are, let's say, planned measures that are currently being taken to take into account the actual front line, possibly its change in the direction of the enemy's movement and, in principle, its priorities on the front line. So, of course, the next step is the construction of fortifications, a circular defence of Balakliia and Izium," he explained.

"I can't say at what stage, let's just say that the administration is fulfilling its tasks. However, of course, some of the work is done by the military themselves. I can only say that the work is going according to plan and is fully controlled by our military," added Syniehubov.
As a reminder, the Russian army is making its way to the Oskil River from both Makiivka (to the south) and Zahryzove (to the north). In the area of Dvorichne, they are constantly attempting to cross, and they are doing so in quite bold ways - in ordinary boats, which they sometimes steal from locals. This poses a threat to Kupiansk and Borova.
