Enemy in south used almost 300 FPV drones in past 24 hours, conducted engineering and aerial reconnaissance - Defense Forces

The operational situation in the south of Ukraine remains stably tense, the composition and nature of the enemy's actions remain unchanged, and no signs of offensive groups have been detected,

According to Censor.NET, this was reported on Telegram of the Southern Defense Forces.

"Over the past day, more than 260 attacks were recorded... The invading troops continue to actively strike with kamikaze drones. Yesterday, the enemy used 299 FPV drones of various modifications, including Lancet barrage drones, and dropped more than 330 fragmentation munitions," the statement said.

According to the Southern Defense Forces, the enemy does not stop assault operations and does not abandon its intention to seize our positions. Four such attempts were recorded in the South yesterday.

"The enemy is conducting engineering and aerial reconnaissance in the Huliaypillia and Orikhove sectors and occasionally trains groups of attack aircraft. Over the past day, the enemy again partially conducted rotational exercises at the frontline positions.

In the Prydniprovia sector, the occupants twice stormed the island zone. The enemy returned to their original positions unsuccessfully and with losses of personnel," the Southern Defense Forces reported on the situation.

Enemy losses over the day

Over the past combat day, it was confirmed that the number of aggressor personnel decreased by 44 occupants.

The enemy also suffered losses in equipment:

  • 11 guns, including "Msta-B" and "D-74"
  • 14 units of automotive and armored vehicles;
  • 7 attack UAVs of the "Shahed-136" type;
  • 4 reconnaissance UAVs of the Zala and Supercam types;
  • 3 boats
  • 1 ATV;
  • 2 Starlink satellite terminals and 3 electronic warfare systems;
  • 4 generators;
  • 4 communication antennas and 7 UAV control antennas.

Our combat units effectively destroyed:

  • 6 occupants' dugouts/shelters;
  • 3 firing positions;
  • place of storage of material and technical means.
