Another attack on Kyiv by "shaheds": air defence forces were engaged, there was injured woman (updated)
Russian drones launched on the night of 3 January attacked Kyiv again. Air defence forces were working.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the KCMA Tymur Tkachenko and Mayor Vitali Klitschko..
"Air defence forces are working in the capital against enemy UAVs. Stay in shelters," Klitschko said.
Operational services recorded the fall of debris in two districts of the capital, Tkachenko said.
Thus, in Darnytskyi district, a fire broke out in a private house as a result of the fall of the "Shahed" wreckage. Rescuers extinguished the fire, and information about the victims is being established.
The fall of debris was also recorded in Holosiivskyi district. Preliminary, there is no fire.
Tkachenko later said that the air raid alert lasted more than three hours. The defence forces destroyed most of the enemy UAVs on the outskirts of Kyiv, but there were some debris falling in Holosiivskyi and Darnytskyi districts.
"Fortunately, we managed to avoid significant damage. A young woman was injured and suffered a burn on her hand, she refused to be hospitalised," the statement said.
As a reminder, on the morning of 1 January, Kyiv was attacked by enemy drones. Debris fell in two districts.
Enemy drones hit a residential building: two people were killed. 6 injured, including two pregnant women. The rescue operation was carried out in difficult conditions as stairwells collapsed.
The attack killed prominent neurobiologist Ihor Zyma and his wife, scientist Olesia Sokur.
The building of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine was also damaged. Later, it was reported that the administrative buildings of the Ukrainian parliament, which house committees and departments of the Verkhovna Rada's apparatus, were damaged.
