Enemy sends up to hundred infantrymen to storm Ukrainian positions in Kharkiv region every day
In the Kharkiv region, Russian occupiers are making daily offensives against the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, using up to a hundred infantrymen in each wave.
This was reported by Mykola Volokhov, commander of the Terra unit of the Third Separate Assault Brigade, during the United News telethon, Censor.NET reports.
"Not a single meter of Ukrainian land has been surrendered in the area of responsibility of the Third Separate Assault Brigade in the Kharkiv region. We are steadfastly holding the line. Our assault mechanized battalions, anti-tank battalions, tank battalions are all doing their job in accordance with the order of the commander," noted Volokhov.
Russian troops have significantly reduced the use of armored vehicles due to unfavorable weather conditions and the effective work of Ukrainian FPV drones. "They are trying, but where we are working with our FPV drones, it is objectively very difficult to do so. Because everything that moves, it burns: we destroy it quite effectively," the commander added.
The occupiers are now focusing on infantry attacks. Although the Russian forces do not lose 100 people daily, they systematically throw this number of infantrymen into the assaults.
According to him, the purpose of such actions is to deplete our defense and reduce the supply of ammunition.
