Kellogg postpones study tour to Kyiv: will come after Trump’s inauguration - Reuters
US President-elect Donald Trump's representative in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, has postponed a trip to Kyiv and other European capitals until after Trump's inauguration on 20 January.
According to Censor.NET, Reuters reports this with reference to four informed sources.
It is noted that Kellogg planned to visit Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian leaders in early January. His team also organised meetings with officials in other European capitals, including Rome and Paris.
But the trip, which was supposed to be the first time that new Trump administration officials have travelled to Kyiv since the November 5 election, has been postponed, according to sources who requested anonymity.
Kellogg is expected to arrive in Ukraine after Trump takes office, although the date has not yet been set, the sources said.
Earlier, Kellogg said that Donald Trump wants a "just, sustainable, secure" peace in Ukraine.
