The operators of the 8th Regiment of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine killed 13 North Korean servicemen in Kursk region.

As noted, during the special operations, the SFO soldiers killed five DPRK fighters in a small arms battle and eight more with the help of drones.
"After the battle, the SOF operators examined the bodies of the DPRK military and their personal documents. One of them had an assault rifle with a calimeter sight, a Sino-Russian radio station 'Azart' and a drone detector, as well as an ID card that differs from a regular military ID. The found items may indicate that he belongs to the officer corps.
Among other things, the North Korean soldier was carrying a letter of appeal to the party," the SOF said.
As reported, earlier the SOF showed a notebook of the DPRK soldier liquidated in Kursk. "I have left my homeland and am in the territory of the Russian Federation," he wrote. Subsequently, the SOF was shown another fragment of the notebook of the DPRK soldier killed in Kursk. "I had betrayed my native party, but I was given a path to revival," the notebook read.
