Ihnat became Head of Communications Department of Air Force Command of Armed Forces of Ukraine
Yuriy Ihnat has been appointed head of the communications department of the Air Force Command
According to Censor.NET, he announced this on his Facebook page.
In particular, he added to Facebook the place of work "Air Force Command of UA Armed Forces".
As Yurii Ihnat explained in a comment to Detector Media, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had previously changed its communications structure. According to the order of the Commander-in-Chief, communication units were created in the Armed Forces.
Thus, in the summer of 2024, the Communications Department was established in the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the fall, Yurii Ihnat has been acting head, and on December 24, he was officially appointed head of the department.
As a reminder, on March 17, 2024, Colonel Yurii Ihnat, the spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was dismissed from his position, which he had held since 2018.
