At a meeting of the Ramstein Contact Group, Canadian Minister of National Defense Bill Blair announced a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth 440 million Canadian dollars.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the website of the Ministry of National Defense of Canada.

It is noted that 200 million Canadian dollars will be allocated to the Czech Republic's initiative to purchase and deliver large-caliber ammunition to Ukraine - in addition to the 53 million already allocated.

Another 100 million Canadian dollars will be spent on the purchase of Ukrainian-made drones according to the "Danish model" - investments in Ukrainian military production.

30 million Canadian dollars were spent on winter gear for the Ukrainian military, and the remaining 64 million were spent on "high-resolution unmanned cameras" already delivered to Ukraine in November-December 2024.

As explained in the department, the announced aid is part of the packages that have already been announced earlier: at the 2024 NATO summit and in the Canadian budget for 2024.

As a reminder, at the Ramstein meeting, the United States announced a $500 million military aid package for Ukraine.

In addition, in 2025, Norway will provide the largest military aid in its history - more than 2 billion euros for Ukraine.
