On the night of 10 January, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 72 "shaheds" using various types of imitation drones from the directions of Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The night air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
"As of 09.00, 33 Shahed strike UAVs and other types of drones have been confirmed downed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia and Kherson regions," the statement said.
Five UAV hits were recorded in the frontline area in the north of Chernihiv region, and a civilian was wounded. In Kyiv region, a damaged UAV crashed into a high-rise building, damaging the building and two dozen cars. There were no casualties.
"34 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences), one of them flew in the direction of the Russian Federation," the Air Force said.
