Servicemen of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an assault by North Korean troops that lasted from morning until night in the Kursk region.

As noted, during the hostile assault, the rangers of the 6th Regiment of the SOF killed 17 DPRK soldiers, and one of them blew himself up with a grenade.
DPRK man tried to lure our soldiers into a trap
"In the morning, a SOF mop-up team moved out and encountered one surviving DPR fighter. He had set an unsuccessful trap for the rangers of the 6th Regiment.
The North Korean fighter tried to mislead the SOF soldiers and blow himself up with a grenade. When the SOF rangers approached him, he blew himself up," the statement said.
According to the SOF, our soldiers noticed the danger in time and quickly withdrew from the area of attack, none of them were injured.

Earlier, South Korean intelligence said that about 300 DPRK soldiers had already been eliminated in Kursk region.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Defense Forces had captured two DPRK soldiers. They are already communicating with the SSU.
Later, the SSU reported that they were conducting investigative actions with the captured DPRK.
It was also reported that operators of the Tactical Group No. 84 of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured a North Korean soldier during special operations in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
