"Limitedly fit" individuals who fail to undergo MMC by February 5 will be fined. Fines range from UAH 17,000 to 25,500 - Cherkasy TCR and SS
Persons liable for military service who previously had the status of "limited fitness" must undergo a military medical examination (MMC) by February 5 this year.
This was stated by the spokesperson for the Cherkasy Regional TCR, Alina Krivosheia, Censor.NET reports, citing the local publication Pro Vse.
According to her, only those who are limitedly fit are served with draft notices to undergo MMC. At the same time, there are those who do not wait for them and go to the commission on their own.
"When we meet a person, for example, during a call-up and see that he is partially fit, we can issue a draft or recommend that he contact the TCR to get a referral to MMC," the spokeswoman says. - "There is also an option that a person liable for military service can receive an order from the company where he works. There are also men who undergo on their own."
On February 6, violators will be fined.
There are time limits when people have to come. That is, the day after the deadline, we can already bring a person to justice for violating military registration. This is a general article and the fine is the same for everyone: from 17 to 25,500 hryvnias. At the same time, when the head of the TCR considers the resolution, if there is a valid reason, the fine may not be imposed. Everything is done on an individual basis," she said.
The military also has to undergo a MMC to determine their suitability for further service.
"This rule applies not only to persons liable for military service, but also to servicemen," the spokeswoman said. - "If they were injured or are partially fit, they also undergo MMC. Those who were limitedly fit and whose health has improved will continue to serve. Those who were wounded will be able to transfer to rear units or even discharge from the Armed Forces. In our unit, for example, there are no people who are completely unfit, because unfit people cannot serve in either combat or rear units by law. That is, undergoing the MMC is not only a problem for people liable for military service. It just needs to be done - that's all."
The regional TRC emphasises that you should not wait for draft notices, but undergo MMC yourself to avoid the possibility of a fine. The commission is also open to those who are fit, even if the last time they were there was more than a year ago.
Earlier, People`s Deputy Venislavskyi said that 17-year-old boys would pay a fine if they failed to register on time.
As a reminder, on 9 January, the Verkhovna Rada passed bill No. 12076 on amendments to the Law on Military Duty and Service regarding medical records during the training of conscripts.
