Russian troops targeted critical infrastructure in Prykarpattia: air defense was working, situation under control
During the morning massive missile attack, the enemy targeted the critical infrastructure of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
This was reported by the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration Svitlana Onyshchuk on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
She recalls that the morning in Ukraine began with a rocket attack. The enemy used various types of weapons.
"In Prykarpattia, critical infrastructure facilities were targeted. Air defense forces were working in the region. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Relevant services are working at the scene. The situation is under control," the head of the region said.
No more information about the attack on Prykarpattia is known at this time.
As reported, on January 15, the enemy sent Tu-95MS into the sky. The Air Force reported missiles fired in the direction of Stryi in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Later, Ukrenergo reported that emergency blackouts had been introduced in a number of regions.
