We are doing everything to ensure that Ukraine will be provided with ammunition by 2025, - Duda
NATO allies have "drawn conclusions" from last year's situation when Ukrainian defenders were short of ammunition.
This was stated by Polish President Andrzej Duda at a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Warsaw,Interfax-Ukraine reports, Censor.NET informs.
According to Duda, during the meeting with Zelenskyy, they discussed possible tranches of assistance to Ukraine, primarily military, asДудаD well as financial assistance.
"I want to assure you that we are doing everything to ensure that the situation like at the beginning of last year, when the Ukrainian army lacked defense equipment, especially ammunition, does not happen again. Conclusions have also been drawn from last year's situation among NATO allies, and I hope that in this regard, Ukraine will be completely safe throughout 2025," the Polish leader said.
Duda reminded that Poland is participating in the Czech initiative to supply ammunition.
He added that the decision to support Ukraine with ammunition in the amount it needs is ongoing and being implemented.
