Andrzej Duda wants Ukraine to be invited to NATO

Polish President Andrzej Duda believes that he has the right to demand that Ukraine be invited to join NATO.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Polish Radio.

According to him, this right is connected, in particular, with the threats to Poland from Russia. There is no greater guarantee of security than Ukraine's membership in NATO, he added.

"There is still a threat on our territory, and planes are constantly activated when Russian missiles fall on Ukrainian cities. In this regard, I believe that I am the president in such a unique, in a sense, privileged situation that regardless of the circumstances, I have the right to put on the table a demand to send Ukraine an official invitation to join NATO," the Polish leader said.
