Alexander Lukashenko, who seized power in Belarus, assures that "Oreshnik" will allegedly be in Belarus "from day to day". He may be deployed near Smolensk.

After the vote, he told the media that the Oreshnik would be transferred to Belarus "from day to day".

He also shared plans to deploy Oreshnik near the Russian city of Smolensk.

"There, closer to Smolensk. That's my dream. And then we'll see. We need a certain distance. It's bad when your targets are very close. But even when they are very far away, they can carry less load," Lukashenko said.

Lukashenko added that this is the reason why he wants to deploy the Oreshnik near Russia.
