"Elections" in Belarus: Exit polls show Lukashenko won 87.6% of vote

On Sunday, January 26, Belarus held the so-called presidential election. Allegedly, 87.6% of Belarusians voted for dictator Alexander Lukashenko.

This was reported by the Belta propaganda agency, Censor.NET reports .

The exit poll gave the following results for other Belarusian candidates:

Oleg Gaidukevich - 1.8%;

Anna Kanopatska - 1.6%;

Serhiy Syrankov - 2.7%;

Oleksandr Khyzhnyak - 1.2%.

It is also noted that another 5.1% of voters voted against all candidates.

To recap, in a joint statement, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and European Commissioner for Enlargement Martha Kos announced that the "election" of the President of Belarus on January 26 was fictitious.
