Both Nord Stream gas pipelines must be dismantled to prevent the resumption of gas supplies from Russia to Europe.

Polish President Andrzej Duda said this in an interview with journalists, Censor.NET reports citing Hromadske.

As noted, Duda expressed hope that European leaders would "learn lessons from Russian aggression against Ukraine" and that they would "push through" the decision to never resume gas supplies through Nord Stream.

In addition, the Polish president believes that dismantling the pipeline will allow countries such as Germany to "resist the temptation" to resume gas supplies from Russia to support their own economies.

"This is a threat both in terms of energy and military. It is also a huge economic threat because it means Russia's dominance over Europe," Duda added.
