In Pokrovsk direction 10 combat engagements are taking place, enemy attacks near Chasiv Yar and Toretsk - General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, January 27, 2025, 82 combat engagements have already taken place along the entire front line.

Strikes on the territory of Ukraine
As noted, the occupiers continue to use aviation, in particular, to drop GABs, and carry out attacks. The defense forces are holding the line and taking the necessary measures to prevent a breakthrough.
The invaders do not stop using artillery on the territories of the regions bordering the enemy. The areas of Oleksandrivka and Popivka in the Sumy region and Yasna Poliana in the Chernihiv region came under enemy fire.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
Four combat engagements continue in the Kharkiv direction near Vovchansk.
Two invaders' assault actions took place near Pishchane and Lozova in the Kupiansk direction.
The situation in the East
According to the General Staff, the enemy is attacking in the Lyman direction in the areas of Novoiehorivka, Kopanky, Makiivka, Terny, Zelena Dolyna, Zarichne and Kolodiazi. In total, there have been eight combat engagements in this sector since the beginning of the day, four of which are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attempts to advance near Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Predtechyne and Bila Hora, and two combat engagements are currently ongoing.
It is also stated that in the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops seven times in the areas of Toretsk, Dyliivka and Shcherbynivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 37 times today in the areas of Vodiane Druhe, Zelenne Pole, Yelizavetivka, Myroliubivka, Sukhyi Yar, Zelene, Kotlyne, Udachne, Nadezhdinka, Kotliarivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka, Shevchenko, Dachne, Ulakly and Yantarne, ten engagements are still ongoing," the statement said.
The situation in the South
In the Novopavlivka direction, our defenders repelled six attacks in the areas of Novosilka, Kostiantynopil, Rozdolne and Velyka Novosilka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked our defenders twice in the area of Novodanylivka, and at the same time launched an air strike there.
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked the positions of our troops once.
In the Huliaipole and Siversk directions, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions since the beginning of the day.
The situation in the Kursk region
"Eleven combat engagements took place in the Kursk direction today, two of them are still ongoing. In addition, the enemy launched 11 air strikes, dropped 14 GABs and fired 156 artillery shells, including two from MLRS," the General Staff emphasizes.
