On the night of 30 January, a Russian drone hit a residential building in Sumy.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the National Police.
Seven civilians, including a child, were injured as a result of a UAV hit.
A ten-story residential building was damaged.
"All emergency services are operating at the scene, and the victims are being helped. A headquarters for eliminating the consequences of the attack has been set up in the courtyard of the building, where citizens can seek help," the statement said.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, 9 people were injured, including one child. Rescue and search operations continue. Rescuers managed to save 4 people, including 1 child, and evacuated 118 people.
The attack preliminarily destroyed 9 apartments and 12 balconies.

Rescuers have pulled out the bodies of two people (a man and a woman) from the rubble, the State Emergency Service reported.

Later, the RMA said that as a result of the Russian attack, 4 people were killed, 9 sustained injuries of varying severity, including one child. Rescue operations are ongoing.
As of 3:30 p.m., the prosecutor's office reported that the bodies of another married couple had been pulled from the rubble.
As a result of the enemy's attack on the high-rise building, 6 people were killed, namely 3 couples - a 74-year-old man and his 69-year-old wife, a 65-year-old man and his 64-year-old wife, and a 61-year-old man and his 61-year-old wife.
As of 5 p.m., the death toll had risen to 7, the State Emergency Service reported.
Rescuers unblocked the body of another person. As of 5 p.m., 13 people were injured, including a child. Emergency rescue operations continue.
Later, the State Emergency Service reported that rescuers had unblocked the body of a woman from the rubble.
As of 6:00 p.m., the death toll from the Russian drone strike had risen to 8.
