The oil refinery in Novoshakhtynsk, located in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, has temporarily stopped working.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andrii Kovalenko.

"The Novoshakhtyn oil refinery in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation has now suspended operations after the attacks," Kovalenko wrote.

He reminded that last year the refinery processed, according to various estimates, 3 million tons of oil. At the same time, the refinery can process 7.5 million tons, but the attacks prevented it from operating at full capacity.

The equipment is now damaged.

As a reminder, at least one fuel tank burned down at the Novoshakhtynsky Oil Refinery in the Rostov region, which was attacked by Ukrainian Defense Forces drones on December 19.
