The draft law that provides for the extension of the period of military medical commission for persons with limited fitness for military service is currently at the final stage of consideration in parliament.

This was stated by the spokesperson for the head of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Dmytro Lazutkin during a telethon, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.

According to Lazutkin, the deadline for the military medical commission will be postponed until 5 June.

He added that up to 27% of those who were supposed to have done so by 5 February have passed the second MMC. At the same time, failure to comply or untimely compliance will be treated as an administrative violation.

The Ministry of Defence spokesperson noted that under the new draft law, there will be no summons with a referral to the MMC is not expected for limited fit persons.

People have to come to the TCR and SS themselves and get a referral to the military medical commission or do it in the digital application "Reserve+", he explained.

In particular, reserved persons with limited fitness must undergo a second MMC.

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that the TCRs will not impose fines on persons liable for military service who fail to pass the MMC by 5 February.
