Russian troops tried to advance in Chasiv Yar area, 11 combat engagements continue in Pokrovsk direction - General Staff
In total, since the beginning of the day, February 3, 2025, 53 combat engagements have taken place at the front.

Strikes on the territory of Ukraine
Border settlements continue to suffer from cynical shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation, in particular Oleksandrivka, Hirky, Turia, Popivka, Bratenytsia, Novovasylivka, Bila Bereza in the Sumy region; Bohdanove in the Chernihiv region.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
As noted, in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy launched air strikes on the settlements of Baranivka and Bochkove.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders seven times in the areas of Petropavlivka, Pishchane and Zahryzove. Ukrainian defenders repelled six enemy attacks, and one more combat engagement is currently underway.
The situation in the East
According to the General Staff, the invading army attacked twice near Terny in the Lyman direction. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, Siversk and Zakitne were hit by air strikes with guided bombs.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attempt of the occupiers to advance in the area of Chasiv Yar.
The enemy actively used bomber aircraft in the Toretsk direction, attacking nine times near the settlements of Krymske, Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupants have made 25 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near Malynivka, Novopoltavka, Zelene Pole, Tarasivka, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Udachne, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka and Dachne. The defense forces are holding back the enemy's offensive and repelled 14 attacks, 11 firefights are still ongoing. The enemy launched air strikes in the vicinity of Oleksandrivka, dropping three GABs (guided aerial bombs)," the statement said.
The situation in the South
Today, in the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked four times near Kostiantynopil, Rozdolne and Novyi Komar.
In the Huliaipole direction, the occupants attacked the positions of our troops near Novosilka twice without success.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy twice tried to advance in the direction of Novodanylivka and Shcherbaky. They were unsuccessful.
In the Prydniprovske direction, Russian invaders unsuccessfully stormed the positions of our defenders near Antonivka and Prydniprovske four times.
The situation in the Kursk region
"In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled five invaders' attacks. Also, the enemy launched 26 air strikes, dropping 37 GABs, and carried out 89 artillery attacks," the General Staff emphasizes.
In other directions of the front, the situation has not changed significantly.
