They tried to smuggle explosives to police: SSU detains two terrorists in Rivne region
In the Rivne region, the Security Service of Ukraine detained two terrorists who allegedly tried to smuggle explosives into a police building.
This was reported by the SSU Office in Rivne region, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.
The agency reported that it had conducted a large-scale special operation in the region to prevent terrorist acts.
"A set of relevant investigative and anti-terrorist actions is currently being carried out, we will provide details soon," the SSU told the publication.
According to the local newspaper Rivne Vechirne ("Rivne Evening"), unidentified persons tried to bring explosives to the police.
Earlier it was reported that on February 1, 2025, an explosion occurred in the Rivne Regional TCR.
The police were working at the scene of the explosion in the Rivne TCR and SS, and one person was killed and six injured.
