Ruscists hit Izium with ballistic missile: 5 killed, 55 injured (updated)
Russian occupants hit Izium in Kharkiv region with a ballistic missile. As a result, 4 people were killed.
This was announced by the head of the RMA Oleh Syniehubov, Censor.NET reports.
Currently, 17 people are known to have been injured, five are hospitalised.
All emergency services are working at the site.
Russians shelled the city centre. Twenty people were injured.
It is known that 1 person is under the rubble, and the liquidation of the consequences of the Russian shelling is underway.
"Administrative buildings were partially destroyed, a five-storey residential building was damaged. Rescuers, emergency medical services, and a cynological service are working," the head of the region said.
According to the head of the RMA, the Russians hit an administrative building. Another administrative building nearby was damaged, as well as multi-storey residential buildings. There is no military facility in the area.
There are 24 known casualties. Among them is a 15-year-old girl who sustained a shrapnel wound, her condition is moderate.
Three more people are in the surgery, doctors are providing all the necessary assistance.
As of 01:16 p.m., 5 people have been reported dead.
Syniehubov said that as of 01:47 p.m., the number of victims had increased to 38. Among them is a 15-year-old girl.
Seven people were hospitalised.
"As a result of the shelling, 170 apartments were damaged - windows were smashed. We are promptly sewing up windows and doors, as well as making rounds of apartments and houses. Specialised services have already started to eliminate the consequences. More than 40 people have sought medical help, 24 have been hospitalised, three of them were in serious condition.
Among the injured are a 6-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl. Their condition is moderate. The search and rescue operation has been completed. According to our information, there are currently no people under the rubble," said the head of the region.
A 44-year-old man, a 69-year-old man, two women and one man were killed - their identities are being established.
As of 3:52 p.m., the number of people injured in the shelling of Izium increased to 55.
Among them are a boy of 6 years old, girls of 14 and 16 years old. The 14-year-old girl is in critical condition, the others are in moderate condition.
Earlier, an explosion was reported in Izium.
