On the afternoon of February 4, Russian troops fired artillery at the Krasnopillia community in the Sumy region. One man was killed and another wounded.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the Sumy region.

According to the investigation, on February 4, 2025, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the enemy from the territory of the Russian Federation fired artillery at the civilian infrastructure of the Krasnopillia community of the Sumy region.

As a result of the attack, at about 13:10, a 50-year-old resident of the village of Hrabovske sustained life-threatening injuries.

Also, an hour earlier, a 43-year-old man who was riding a bicycle in the direction of Mykhailivske village was wounded. He was hospitalized.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the shelling.

As a reminder, in November 2024, a mandatory evacuation of the population to safer areas was announced from the village of Krasnopillia, Sumy region.
