Meeting in Weimar+ format to support Ukraine to be held on February 12 in Paris – French Foreign Ministry
On February 12, Paris will host a meeting in the Weimar Plus format at the level of foreign ministers to support Ukraine.
This was announced at a briefing by Foreign Ministry spokesman Christophe Lemoine, Ukrinform reports, Censor.NET reports.
"This conference, which will be held on the eve of the Munich Security Conference, will provide an opportunity to discuss the efforts made by European countries, in particular France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, the United Kingdom and Ukraine, to strengthen our support to put Ukraine in the best position for peace talks," the French Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
Lemoine also added that the summit should be attended by an "American delegation." However, according to him, the question of who exactly will represent the United States at the meeting "is currently being determined." The final format of the meeting is still being finalized.
