Russians will spread a fake about the alleged "capture" of Toretsk to "cover" their losses in the Kursk region.

This was stated by the spokesperson of the "Khortytsia" OTG Viktor Trehubov and the spokesperson of the "Luhansk" OTG Dmytro Zaporozhets, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.

"They just had to "nail down" the information agenda of their own losses in the Kursk region. And they started telling their own population about some kind of control..." - said the spokesperson for the Khortytsia military unit.

He emphasized that, of course, there are city battles in Toretsk, and they are heavy, but they have been going on for months.

"And there is no question of any Russian control over the city," stated Trehubov.

It is also noted that the main task of the enemy today is to capture strong defensive positions - the directions of the Central and Toretsk mines.

"The enemy is amassing forces in the eastern part of Toretsk, near the penal colony, and then moving to the central part, near the library, and then conducting assault operations in the direction of 1.5 km of range," said Zaporozhets.

The occupiers use the same tactics when storming the positions of the Defense Forces in the area of Zabalka.

In addition, according to him, Russian tactical aviation has recently become "extremely active."

"Such activation resulted in the downing of an enemy aircraft in the Toretsk sector yesterday," added the Luhansk OTG spokesman.
