Occupiers tried to cross Oskil River near Dvorichna three times, boats and invaders were eliminated. Enemy convoy near Zelenivka was defeated - OSGT "Khortytsia"
Over the past day, 9 February 2025, in the Kharkiv sector, the enemy unsuccessfully stormed the positions of our troops in Vovchansk.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the OSGT "Khortytsia" .
As noted, in the Kupyansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our troops near Petropavlivka and Zahryzove: they were unsuccessful. The enemy used armoured vehicles to deliver assault groups in the area of Nova Kruhliakivka. As a result of the firefight, two occupiers' armoured personnel carriers were damaged and the troops were killed. In the area of Dvorichna, the enemy tried to cross the Oskil River three times. The occupiers‘ attempts were detected in advance, fire was applied, and the invaders’ boats were destroyed with its personnel.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked the fortifications of the Defence Forces near the settlements of Kolodiazi, Novoserhiivka, Yampolivka and Torske. No losses of Ukrainian positions were incurred.
"At the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, Russian troops, supported by artillery and various types of UAVs, continue to storm our positions in the urban areas of Chasiv Yar, Toretsk and near Shcherbynivka. In Toretsk, in order to create an appropriate image for Russian propaganda TV channels and media, the occupiers tried to plant flags of the aggressor country in different locations six times. As a result of the work of our UAV operators, the Russian tricolour flags were destroyed along with the ‘flag bearers’," the statement said.
OSGT "Khortytsia" also notes that in the Pokrovskyi sector, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the areas of Zelene Pole, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Pishchane, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka and Andriivka. Fighting also continued in Dachne and Pishchane. Under the cover of fog, the enemy tried to use armoured vehicles to deliver assault groups towards Ulakly. The column was detected in advance. After a firefight, during which several enemy armoured personnel carriers were damaged, the vehicles returned to the original area.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy attacked near Kostiantynopil and tried to regain the lost position near Zelenivka. The occupiers used vehicles to deliver personnel. The convoy was hit by our artillery fire. Three vehicles and their personnel were destroyed. The enemy continues to accumulate forces and means for further attacks. Ukrainian defenders inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the invaders.
"Our soldiers are holding the line, destroying the enemy's superior forces, which are trying to use their numerical superiority and develop an offensive," OSGT "Khortytsia" said.
