Ukrainian Armed Forces hit Saratov oil refinery, fire broke out - General Staff
On the night of 11 February 2025, the Defence Forces struck the Saratov Oil Refinery.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
The attack was carried out by units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defence Forces.
The refinery provides comprehensive oil processing.
"The refinery mainly produces petrol, fuel oil and diesel fuel. In total, it produces more than 20 types of petroleum products. The company is involved in supplying the Russian occupation army. A hit has been confirmed. A fire broke out at the facility. The results of the damage are being clarified," the statement said.
As a reminder, on the night of 11 February, drones attacked an oil refinery, and airfield in Engels, Saratov region.
