Japan will provide Ukraine with grant of almost $58 million for reconstruction

Ukraine will receive a grant from Japan in the amount of 8.8 billion Japanese yen, or about $58 million, for reconstruction projects.
This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, Censor.NET reports.
"Today we have approved the relevant draft agreement between our governments. These will be funds from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to finance reconstruction projects," he said.
The Prime Minister also thanked the Japanese partners for their consistent and unwavering support for Ukraine.
"We are constantly working with allies around the world to attract additional resources for reconstruction," he added.
