Shelling of the territory of Ukraine
As noted, today, the communities of Popivka, Ponomarenky, Riasne, Pokrovka of the Sumy region; Klynova-Novoselivka in the Kharkiv region suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire. Hremiachka of Chernihiv region came under an air strike.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, Zolochiv and Veterynarne were hit by enemy aircraft.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupants attacked the positions of the Defense Forces four times in the areas of Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka and Zahryzove, and one battle is currently underway.
The situation in the East
According to the General Staff, in the Lyman direction, the invading army launched four attacks on Ukrainian positions near Novoserhiivka, Zelenyi Hai, Novoliubivka and Yampolivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four assault attacks by Russian invaders, the enemy is trying to break through in the areas of Vasiukivka, Hryhorivka and Chasiv Yar. The enemy launched a drone strike on Druzhkivka.
In the Toretsk direction, our defenders repelled six occupants' attacks near Toretsk, Dyliivka and Shcherbynivka, four more combat engagements are ongoing. Katerynivka and Oleksandro-Shultine came under air strikes.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 19 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, Nadiivka, Oleksiivka, Dachne and Shevchenko. The defense forces are holding back the attack and repelled 17 enemy attacks, two firefights are still ongoing. Pokrovsk, Leontovychi and Muravka were hit by air strikes," the statement said.
The situation in the South
It is also noted that in the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy tried to break through the defense of our defenders five times in the area of Kostiantynopil. One battle is currently underway.
In the Huliaipole direction, there were two combat engagements with the enemy in the area of Charivne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched an air strike near Omelnyk, dropping seven GABs (guided aerial bombs).
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy dropped two bombs on the village of Prydniprovske.
The situation in the Kursk region
Since the beginning of the day, 12 combat engagements took place in the Kursk direction, eight of which are still ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out eight air strikes, dropping 13 GABs.
The situation in other directions remained unchanged.
