NATO Defense Ministers to discuss further support for Ukraine on February 13
NATO defense ministers will discuss a number of issues, including further support for Ukraine, at a meeting in Brussels on February 13.

"NATO defense ministers will meet on February 13 to discuss a number of topics related to the security of our Alliance. One of the issues that is at the top of our agenda is defense spending," the Alliance official said.
He said that "work is underway to agree on ambitious new capability targets for Allies that will be key to ensuring they have the right amount of manpower and weapons to deter and defend".
According to him, achieving these goals will require much greater investment from many countries in the bloc.
It is also expected that further assistance to Ukraine will be among the topics of the meeting. In particular, at the NATO-Ukraine meeting, where the NATO defense ministers will be joined by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umierov and EU High Representative Kaja Kallas.
"We expect the ministers to exchange views on other important topics, including the protection of critical undersea infrastructure and ongoing NATO-led missions," said NATO Acting Spokesperson Allison Hart.
On the morning of February 6, the United Kingdom announced that it was convening a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense in the Ramstein format. It will take place on February 12 in Brussels on the eve of a meeting of NATO defense ministers.
