It is noted that traces of fire and damage to the pipeline are visible on a satellite image taken on 11 February.

The catalytic reforming unit L-35-11/300, near which the damage is visible, is designed to improve the quality of petrol: it increases its octane number to 93-98 points through chemical reactions on a catalyst containing platinum.

As a reminder, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the night of 11 February, drones attacked an oil refinery and airfield in Engels in Saratov region.

Earlier, satellite imagery showed that two fuel tanks were destroyed in a strike on the Saratov oil refinery on the night of 14 January. The Saratov Oil Refinery is the main producer of petrol, fuel oil and diesel fuel in the Saratov region.
