Ukraine will have little chance of surviving without US support - Zelenskyy

Ukraine will have very few chances, and it will be extremely difficult for it to survive without US military support.

According to Censor.NET, this was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with NBC News.

He emphasized that continued military support from the United States is critical to Ukraine's defense and future. He emphasized that he does not even want to imagine a scenario in which Ukraine is left without a strategic partnership with Washington.

"It will probably be very, very, very difficult. And, of course, in all difficult situations, you have a chance. But we will have little chance, very little chance to survive without the support of the United States. I think this is very important, critically important," Zelenskyy said.

He emphasized that he did not want to think about fighting Russia without American support.

"I don't want to think that we will not be strategic partners with the United States," the Ukrainian president emphasized.

Zelenskyy warned that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not seek to end the war but only wants a temporary ceasefire to regroup his troops and lift international sanctions.

"This is really what he wants. He wants to pause, prepare, train, lift some sanctions through a ceasefire, and so on," Zelenskyy said.

As a reminder, dictator Putin is assembling a team of "heavyweights with decades of experience in high-level negotiations" to oppose US President Donald Trump's representatives in concluding an agreement to end Russia's war against Ukraine.
