Together with partners, Ukraine produced 1.5 million drones last year, - Zelenskyy
Last year, thanks to the joint efforts of Ukraine and its partners, more than 1.5 million drones of various types were produced, and Ukraine is now a world leader in the field of unmanned warfare.
According to Censor.NET, citing Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this at the Munich Security Conference
"We are developing joint production of weapons, especially drones. The Danish model, for example, of joint investment in arms production in our country is already working well, very, very, very successfully. Last year alone, thanks to Ukrainian and partner efforts, we produced more than 1.5 million drones of various types. Ukraine is now a world leader in the field of drone warfare. This is our success. But it is also your success," the President said, addressing the audience.
In this regard, Zelenskyy emphasized that everything produced for Ukraine's defense also strengthens Europe's security. "This applies to artillery, air defense, technology, and armored vehicles," he said.
"Everything that is needed to protect life in modern warfare should be produced in Europe - completely. Europe has everything it needs. Europe just needs to unite and start acting so that no one can say no to Europe, command it or treat it as a weakling. It is not just about accumulating weapons. It is about jobs. It's about technological leadership. And economic strength for Europe," the President said.
