Negotiations to end the war

There will be no European representatives at the negotiating table to resolve the war in Ukraine, but Europe's interests will be taken into account.

This was stated by the US Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.

According to the US special representative, Europe's interests will be taken into account at the negotiating table. But he ruled out the physical presence of European representatives.

"I don't want to clarify, I want to say, how do we define the table? Will you sit at the third table? Will all your interests be included in these discussions? Yes. If you mean sitting physically at the table, then no," he emphasized.

Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergaard commented on Kellogg's statement from the floor. She believes that Europe should be at the negotiating table if it sends its military to Ukraine.

"Now you are waiting for an answer from us, whether we can provide our (European - ed.) military, send them (to Ukraine - ed.). If you want an answer, then we must be at the table (of negotiations - ed.). If we are really going to send soldiers, we have to be at the table," the minister said.
