Ruscists attack Myropillia community in Sumy region with FPV drone: man wounded

The enemy attacked the border community of Sumy region on 17 February

On the evening of 17 February, Russian troops attacked a border community in the Sumy region with an FPV drone.

This was reported by the Prosecutor's Office of Sumy region, Censor.NET reports.

According to the investigation, on 17 February 2025, at about 4 p.m., using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the occupiers attacked the civilian infrastructure of the Myropillia community of the Sumy district, according to preliminary data, with an FPV drone.

As a result of the shelling, a 57-year-old man was injured and hospitalised.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the shelling.

Under the procedural supervision of the Sumy District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation into the commission of war crimes (Part 1 Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is underway.
