Erdogan and Rutte discuss Russia’s war against Ukraine
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the call concerned regional and global issues.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the press service of the Turkish president on the social network X.
"Stating that Turkey is doing and will continue to do everything possible to end the war between Ukraine and Russia, President Erdogan noted that Turkey has held contacts with numerous leaders, including the warring parties and representatives of international organizations, and that a just and lasting peace is possible," the statement said.
It is also noted that Erdogan emphasized Turkey's efforts to end wars in its region and the world and called on the international community to support Turkey's efforts to stop wars and build peace.
To recap, Erdogan said that his country supports the full territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
